Q. What areas of the country do Belowground Ltd cover?
Belowground Ltd predominately cover the south of the UK however we are happy to travel anywhere in the UK as we often do due to our competitive pricing structures.
From your initial contact we would require you to provide us with plans of your proposed project. We will then send you a quotation based upon these. After which we will arrange to visit you at your property/site.

Q. Do you do the excavations?
Yes, if you require more than just piling then we can provide you with a complete ground work package including drainage, ground beams, spoil removal, or any combination of the above. We will also liaise directly with your local building control/NHBC etc should you wish us to do so.
Q. What size trenches need to be dug out?
Our typical ground beams for extensions and average sized new build properties require an excavation of 500mm deep and 450mm wide.
Q. Is a site visit required?
Yes we will always visit your property/site prior to commencing our works.
Q. Do you arrange for pile and/or ground beam calculations and design for submission to the building control?
Yes we have our own design capabilities and can normally provide a full set of calculations within 48hrs. We will then submit these to your local authority building control on your behalf.
Q. Do you arrange for visits by the building inspector?
Yes we will arrange for all inspections required to check the work we have carried out prior to pouring concrete.
Q. Do you mark out the piles?
Yes, should you require the site set out then we can arrange for a surveyor to do so at an additional charge.
Q. How long is it before you can do the job?
If a short lead in time is important for your project then Belowground Ltd can help, from placing your order we can design and have your work underway in as little as 5 days.
Q. Does your quote include VAT?
Yes our quotes are subject to VAT. Unless you are constructing a new build property which is VAT free.
